Gold vermeil is a thick layer of gold over sterling silver. Gold vermeil looks exactly like real gold. It is less expensive than solid gold and has all the same benefits.

To be classified as gold vermeil the base metal has to be sterling silver. The gold has to be 10k and 2.5 microns thick.

Our gold vermeil is sterling silver base, 18k and 3 microns thick. All our vermeil piece are E coated for longevity.
